Jason Bonham is the one guy who was not an original member of Led Zeppelin who clearly has every right to be out there doing the Led Zep tribute thing. Of course, Jason was only two years old when his father John played his first show as Zep’s drummer in 1968. Legend has it that Jason was a pretty decent drummer by the age of five, when Led Zeppelin IV came out. Since the passing of his father in 1980, Jason has been involved many musical projects, including several stints as Zeppelin’s actual drummer. This evening he’ll be at Rocky Mount’s intimate Harvester Performance Center (450 Franklin St.) performing the songs of his father’s band. The show starts 8 p.m. and tickets are $107.
