Straight outta Roanoke and headed for something in the vicinity of a lunar trajectory, the Darkside Experience are a band that started out as a project and have turned into something of a calling. In their own words, they “deliver the experience of Pink Floyd,” which sounds promising and a little concerning, depending on the era in question. We’re going to guess they’ll go heavy on The Wall and Dark Side of the Moon and leave some of the deeper cuts from Ummagumma and A Saucerful of Secrets for another time. They play the Glass House (1019 Jefferson St.) this evening. Doors are at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $12 in advance, $17 at the door. Click here for tickets and more info.
